“MCIS-Smriti” is an artificial intelligence and machine learning based application through which the sub-division/ block level weather forecast of a region, details of how its elements are affecting human body and the possibility of crop disease due to these elements in that region can be heard on mobile in regional language. For this reason, a special Android app has been developed (MCIS-Smriti) where an ML based algorithm called Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average models (ARIMA) has been used for weather forecasting. Currently the live weather information, forecast of 100 sub divisions of 20 districts of West Bengal can be heard in Bengali language on mobile through this app. In future we would like to incorporate other modules in different languages up to the subdivision level of all states of India through which many farmers including common people will benefit. This application can be used as a public address system also for the general public through which any specific information for one or more sub-divisions needs to reach the people of that region can be done quickly....
MCIS-Smriti architecture is basically built on three DataGrid namely Brahma Weather Station grid, Bishnu Weather Station grid and Maheshwar Weather Station grid. Basically, every DataGrid has specific function. For example, Brahma Grid and Bishnu Grid collect block-level recent weather data from weather satellites at specific intervals through API and subsequent process and upload that huge data to the cloud with specific block-level GIS information. These two data grids convert the weather block level information into Bengali language and provide the speech module. As a result, the ML based speech module can map this information to a specific block level for which clicking on a specific block trigger to the firing of events and the listener hears the weather information in Bengali language. MCIS-Smriti has several interactive interfaces, such as the latest block level weather data integrated into the map by GIS information which is indicated by red spots on the map. Each red spot represents a specific block where a hit provides the latest weather information for that area. Besides, the latest earthquake data with specific magnitude, temperature data and pattern of microclimate elements are shown through the rest of the interfaces. Maheshwar Grid updates all these interfaces at regular intervals. Changes in microclimate factors cause crop diseases. Maheshwar data grid observes this change in ingredients and its AI module predicts whether that ingredient change could cause crop disease. At present, Maheshwar data grid is able to provide only rice plant blast disease prediction. This grid will be able to predict more crop diseases in the future.
Currently MCIS-Smriti serves block level microclimate data, future block level weather forecasting, analytics will be included.
